The Bloodsword

Dedicated to all those times you make a rash decision and have to suffer the consequences of your actions.

For the past few months, I've been trying to do more illustrative pieces--mostly to test my abilities but also to attempt making sell-able artwork. Out of about a dozen pieces I've started, I honestly didn't think that this piece would be the one I finish first (this was the third one I started). Inspiration suddenly hit me, though, and I hurried to finish this after I figured out how I wanted it to look.

I tried to appeal to fantasy gamers with this one, depicting the moment a new player finds a cool weapon, but has it unfortunately bind to him before he checks whether it was cursed or not. This kind of situation has happened to me too often, haha... orz

So yeah, I kind of rushed to finish this before the new year, but I'm glad it's done. Happy new years eve, everybody! Hope you've learned something from your mistakes this year, and good luck to everybody in the coming year.
